    Confused About Pacer

OK, our 341 meeting was last Friday so I thought I would register with Pacer and get my feet wet.
The last filing was 4/27 which I assume is when the trustee filed the fact that we had the 341 meeting?
When I clicked on the status it states No Distribution and Awaiting Closing and that's all good I must assume.
What I am confused about is in the column after time in status there is a # column and it states 13. What does that mean??
Also, in reading the stickys I am thinking that the only thing I really need to check is status and then only if there is something new in the date of last filing?

I believe you are referring to the "days " in time in status.

    Does that make sense?

Sometimes there is a numerical association with your filings.

So, for example lets say you filed your means test and the number next to it is "11", sometimes there is a hyperlinked number associated with the filing, so when you click on the number, it takes you to the relevant docket entry ( which in this example would be your means test).

sounds like it could be either of those two things, but I think your are looking at the number of days in status.

Hope I didn't make that more confusing.

No, under the status heading I get pending statuses.
The the columns are labeled Status~mine says awaiting closing. Then Begin Date~mine says 4/27/2009. Then Time in Status~mine says 1 day. Then the column is labeled #, and under that it states 13. The final column states Status Set By and in my case it says "Chapter 7 Trustee's Report of No Distribution".
Now I think I understand all of that except the column labeled # and the number under it of 13.
      Now do you understand better?

I just went in to Pacer to check it out. As it turns out, I've never even looked at the "status" tab. I had a "14" there. It is the docket number of the document listed to the right. If you click on the number, it should take you to that document.

The number 13 is a dirty word around here, so I can understand your concern.

          OK and thanks.
And yes I do understand 13 is the dirty word.
I waited 6-7 months to file to let the income from my wife's job (that she lost for medical reasons) drop off.
We are both reduced to retirement income now and would like to just stay that way if we can afford to.
