Why do they need to know about a loan from a family member? If I have borrowed money from a family member and it is paid back is it necessary to list it? I do not want this family member to know I am filing bankruptcy.

All debts need to be disclosed when filing for BK. What you need to do is discuss this situation with your attorney when putting together your listing of creditors._________________________________________
