I am filing Chapter 7 w/o attorney and filed the petition due to garnishments. I am in AZ and the paperwork says I have 15 days to turn in the schedules & means test. It does not say if this is business days(Mon-fri) or calendar days. Also, is this strictly enforced, Monday is the 15th day (including weekends) and I am trying to finish but getting very nervous.

Sorry, I can't answer your question. I must admit that it is obvious you're being penny wise and dollar foolish. By saving a few hundred on attorney fees... you could end up costing yourself thousands or more... -
In Southern California, that 15 days is VERY strict. It's automatically dismissed if the deficiency isn't met.12/05/08 - filed pro se
01/27/09 - case dismissed and closed - 02/24/09 - case reopened and dismissal vacated
04/01/09 - new 341 scheduled
6/02/09 - DISCHARGED!!!

Calender Days; and yes, it is very strict. There will be an adminstrative dismissal if you do not get the petition complete.Comment
