My sister is filing BK. On the paperwork it says to list any and all binding contracts and leases, so she listed the place she rents. My question is, will this become part of the chap 7 BK?
She only wanted this to be a consumer credit BK.

The lease will be listed on her filing forms as one of her legitimate living expenses, that's all.

Well this mess up her section 8 housing?

Assuming that she isn't behind on her rent and trying to discharge the overdue rent as a part of her Ch 7 and she also continues to pay her rent on time after she files, she should be fine.

Thank you for your response. I appriciate it so much! She is not behind on rent in fact she pays it on time each and every month. Rent is the very first thing that gets paid before anything else.
