    Attorney on Trustee Panel

I'm doing some research on attorneys in my area and have found one that currently serves as a member of the Chapter 7 Trustee Panel. Is that a good thing and what actually does it mean?

Not unusual to find a lawyer who works both sides of the street so to speak. It can be helpful when you have a complicated case. They know for sure what will fly with there fellow trustees and what the UST for the district may consider.

I think it would be good to have a attorney that served on both sides. Although most BK's are just procedural and a matter of getting the proper boxes checked. I agree with Keepmine, especially if you have a complicated case.
