    Certification of Mailing Matrix

Hello, I am filing Pro se, and I printed off a checklist of everything needed in my district. I have everything ready and filled out, except a Certification of Mailing Matrix, which I do not see a form for anywhere. Any clues?

You can certify it yourself. At the end of the matrix, you state that you certified on this date that this has been mailed to the above creditors and sign it. It is like a sworn statement. If you are on PACER, dig up any bk and read their matrix, then do likewise. 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

Check out Nolo.com for their excellent bk7 book. About 17 bucks downloaded in PDF. It will show and tell you all you need to know. 'Hub

I have the book, but the mailing matrix portion is a little vague. It says in the book, "As part of your bankruptcy filing, you are required to submit a list of all your creditors, so the court can give them official notice of your bankruptcy."

Do I need to send something out as well? I'm confused.

That is a text document with the names and addresses of your creditors. Check your local BK rules for formatting guidelines, some have special requirements.

It has to be scan-able, so sometimes they require certain spacing/font requirements and limits on how many creditors per page.

I have the mailing matrix ready, I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do for the certification of mailing matrix though. The only thing the Nolo book mentions about it is "Your court may also require you to submit a declaration or "verification," stating that your list is correct..." Just confused on how. I googled it and other districts had forms.
