    Is My LLC Account "safe"?

    We've moved our personal accounts to a bank that we owe no money to.

    My LLC's account, though, is still with a bank to whom my husband owes CC money. My LLC and the associated account are under the LLCs name and Tax ID Number. However, I am also the person of record on the account and own the LLC.

    thoughts? Think I'm taking a risk leaving it open and using it?

    I had a personal CC account and a business account with Wachovia. We included the personal CC in our bankruptcy. I removed the majority of my money once we knew we weren't going to pay the CC.

    My wife also has a business account with the same bank for her business. She was sure that the accounts were separate and that they couldn't/wouldn't touch her LLC account. Turns out...as always...she was right.

    After watching my account and moving money in and out of it, I now feel safe enough to keep the money in there.

      Ekor, I'd want your wife in my corner...since she's always right. Well, theres 1100 in my biz acct. I feel like I'm safe. I mean, it's a BIZ, it's an LLC, it's sepearte from plain old "me." It's its own entitiy.

      Right? :}
