Question Can someone help please

I took a car title loan in Nov 08 in Nevada, I am going back to MI and filing 7 in March. I am on title to our home but refied by hubby in his name 7/08. I have no assets. 40K cc debt and no job when I go home. Will 7 clear the car title loan? Its worth $1000 maybe, I owe $900.

I am confused. Which loans are in your name? Which loans have your husband's name on them? Are you filing jointly, or singly? Is your state a Community Property state, or Joint Tenancy?

Was the car loan a mortgage to purchase the car, or did you take out a loan to clear other debt that used the car as collateral?

All these factors make a difference.

I will file in MI. Non-com state. My husband is on NOTHING but the mortgage. He has never owned a CC. I will be filing alone, already spoke to a few lawyers not to much info until I go in for appt. It is a car title loan in Nevada, came here temp for work. I'm going home now and wondering if 7 will clear the title loan if I exempt it. Since I am still on the deed in MI the lawyer said I may not have to wait 91 days to file. Trying to save $$ to get home, cant afford to pay payment to car title co.
