When meeting with the BK Attorneys what questions should or did you ask? I am getting ready to meet with some this week and next and am not sure what I should ask them.

I plan on asking if I qualify for a Ch.7 because I don't really want to go 13. Can I keep the house and 2 cars based on their value and what I owe? Should I stop paying all credit cards now and getting caught up on paying for mortgage and cars? I also plan to ask what his fees are.Ch. 7

Just tell them about your situation, what assets you would want to keep and if you don't know which chapter to file they could suggest it to you. My dad also asked all the attorneys he saw how much it would cost and if they work with him on paying the fees.Comment
