Whats wrong with these credit card companies?

Ok, We filed BK, Chapter 7 at the end of November, I went BK on capital one for $12k on a credit card and also gave back a vehicle I also had with them.

Today in the mail I get a pre-approved credit card offer from Capital One, Granted its only a $1000 limit at 24% but still does not make sense to me.

there is a screw lose...lol....I havent filied yet but I will on Chase. I dont have a really big balance with them but I havent paid them since Aug. And they are always sending me offers..

Pre approved still has to be underwritten to see if you qualify. Does not mean it is automatically approved.

I keep getting letters from AmX saying that I can reinstate my account IF I pay them the money I owe them. Like I ever even want to SEE an AmX credit card again. LOL

I had a couple of my credit card companies sell my debt to other companies.

I got letters later from the cc's saying stuff like, "You recently left us, COME BAAACK!" "Why not reopen with this GREAT OFFER?!"
