Getting Married after BK?

Hello everyone, I was hoping someone can share some insight on what happens to my my fiance when we get married? My BK just got confirmed last week and I plan on getting married in the next few years and she has excellent credit and has a great stable income. When we get married will anything happen to her? Everything is still in my name and I only included credit card debt in my BK so my home is still current and still plans on being current for a very long time.

So whatever you can tell me would be much appreicated. Thanks for your help in advance

Nothing will happen to her. The only problem that you both might have together is if you jointly apply for something major.

Is it a Chapter 7 or, 13?

If you're in a 13, there may well be a chance your payments to unsecured will increase {unless you're paying back at 100%}. Reason being, you have a higher hh income to pay basic living living expenses. Check with your attorney.

Good luck! If all goes according to plan, my case will be closed only about a month before my wedding date. I am filing a Chapter 7 though.
