Question Attempted 13 2 yrs ago, can I file 7 now?

I attempted to file a chapter 13 2-3 years ago, and was laid off in the process fo filing it. I was not able to make the arranged payments and the bankruptcy was thrown out. Will this cause me any headaches as I try to file a chapter 7 now?

Unless you filed had a Chapter 7 discharged within the last 8 years, you're free to file. The dismissed 13 will be no issue.

Actually all was quiet for a year or so. I think that they must have published that the bankruptcy did not go through though, because I was just sued by one of my creditors.
