I did not reaffirm a debt that was bought out by Maytag awhile back and I got a letter from the company that my attorney forwarded. My attorney told me to respond accordingly. Its a place called Creditors Bankruptcy Service. The last part of the letter reads,
Since your client apparently has no intent to reaffirm the debt or redeem the collateral, we ask that we be notified by january 13, 2009, as to when it will be convenient for our client to arrange for return of the collateral.
Am I suppose to call these people directly now and deal with them? And its a large fridge, I have no way to move it or return it. Will they come pick it up on their own? Just seeing if anyone knew what I should do as my attorney takes days to call me back.
Thanks
