Finally after nearly 3 months my mobile home has been claimed by the lienholder. I surrendered it in early Oct! They did not want it.
They now say they will sell it soon.
They had better so something as the guy who tried to assume the loan on it and the property (separate loans) is going to start charging them rent for storage of the home very shortly at the maximum rate he can under AZ state law. He owns the property that it on so I will assume he has every right to do so after putting them on notice.
The lienholder, Vanderbilt, turned down two parties with good credit and all and would not allow the assumption. They wanted money down and all and wanted to refinance it. Dumb, just dumb on their parts.
And this was after I told them they would leave me in a position that I would have to sell the land to get some equity out of the deal which I did do.
Left them having a home on property that they cannot control and in turn with the expense of having to move the home into storage and trying to get whatever they can out of the deal.
I think they are nuts.
