theres been numerous posts about this topic.. I had an AM/EX corporate card that was issued by my employer (and it did NOT show up on my credit report) and about three weeks after I filed I received a letter from AM/EX stating that my card has been cancelled because I filed CH13.. I think you can consider that card cancelled..

I'm sure there may have been some fine print on whatever you signed that said something to the effect that you may be subject to a credit check or something of that nature. I realize that it doesn't seem like you'll lose it, but as I suggested before, you should check with your accounting department to see what their proceedures are in regards to bankruptcy. I only say this because there have been a few people at work who have filed and lost their charging priviledges even though it's a company card.sigpic

As I prepare for a Ch 13 I saw that the company Diner's Club card was not on my credit report.
The scary thing is that even though I do not travel often for business the company can turn around and say travel is a required part of my job and that if I cannot qualify for a corporate card I cannot maintain my job.
This is where a BK can lead to termination of employment and probably legally.

I have a P-card also. I had it before I filed and still currently have it. Its a Wells Fargo Commercial card. I have 3000 limit and don't have to renew it. Its just like any CC with an expiration date on it. We go online and notate our charges submit them then if we have a charge over $75 we need a reciept. Don't see it on my credit either....

I have AMEX card with my name and company name on it, but my responsibility to pay bill. Filed BK in May and so far no word from AMEX. I've seen from my credit report that AMEX does an occassional review, so I'm holding on til the next one and see what happens.May 2008: Filed Chapter 13

I asked one of the lawyers Ive been talking to and he said that I do not have to list it if it is a 0 balance. I also checked my credit report and like I said it is not listed AND I do not see where they even did a credit check when my company opened it for me. Maybe my company is big enough back up that they dont do that? I dont know..I am not going to out myself to my work. If it does end up getting cancelled then I will just deal with it all then.

I have an AMEX corporate card and I never had to fill out any acceptance information nor credit information prior to receiving it. The company just said you need one, here it is. I am forbidden from paying it directly, the company does it after I submit an expense report.
I'd like them to take it away, maybe then I won't have to travel to Asia anymore.Filed CH13 12/31/08, abandoned March 09 after losing job.
Ch7 Filed March 2010. 341 Meeting April 2010. Discharge and Case Closed July 2010.

My husband had an amer x card thru work and it was issued and paid thru company. Once we filed, it was cancelled as we had a personal amer x too. The cancelled all accounts that had his name on them. They said once his credit scores start going up after discharge he should reapply thru work and see if they can get him another corporate card.
