I'm sure it's been asked before on here, but How long does a BK stay on your credit report for? I filed a chapter 7 back in 2002 and I was wondering when it would be cleared from my file. Thanks.

10 years for the BK public record and 7 years for any of the accounts you included in BK.

It's 7 years for any derogatory credit line to be reported. That's from the time of the default.
