cancel auto insurance?

i have a credit card with state farm bank, along with my car insurance... i wonder if they can cancel my auto policy if i file bk?

I have my life, car and homeowner's insurance with them and they will increase your rates because my homeowner's insurance went up about $40 a month which is quite a bit for me. My auto rate didn't change. I guess because I don't have tickets or accidents and they made enough from the homeowner's policy. If you can get comparable rates elsewhere it might be worth switching, but they might pull your credit also so make sure to switch before you file.

I don't get why insurance companies pull credit reports anyway. Don't they cancel you if you don't pay? Not much risk if you ask me, but then again what do I know.
