I haven't paid Discover for a year... They received a judgement and I then agreed to a payment plan. Once I met with my Atty back in June he told me to stop paying them and to let them know I have retained council and gave them his info. I guess since I haven't filed yet they figured they would make a big "hit" before I did.

We just rented and I let the realtor know about our situation and she said, "no big deal...everyone's credit sucks right now." Think of it this way - many home owners need to become landlord because THEY'RE having financial difficulty.

Looking forward to moving...should be out of this house by the end of April.
