    Middle District Florida PACER question

    Hey All,

We filed last week, and I created a PACER account, and logged in. The night we filed, I was able to access my case via links the lawyer had e-mailed me. Over the weekend, I tried to access info but could not find the case. I then searched via SS # and found it.

Today I am logging in, and going to the query page. I can not find the case, and there is no area to search by SS #.

I try to search by name, with no results. (It did show me a page charge of $.08 however! )

Any clues where I am going wrong?
    Filed 10/11/08 - 341 11/23/08 - Discharged 1/26/09
2/19/09 Stipulation agreement reached w/trustee - Still awaiting Closed Status

Strange that the search box for SSN isn't there. On my PACER is is located underneath First Name. Try searching by case number.

Make sure you're looking in the right court. I looked in the wrong place before.

        HHHMMmmmmm

        Well, check this out...

When I log into pacer from following links from the main pacer site, it takes you to:

When I checked my e-mail from the petition submission it goes to a different address:

Notice the B, not the D, in the first address.

When I went to the 2nd URL, I was able to find it with the search function, and the option for SS# search was there, too.

Also, be aware that you may end up on the U.S. District Court - Middle District of Florida side... Not the U.S. Bankruptcy Court - Middle District of Florida. Which is exactly what you did by going to "flmd".

Now that will just drive you nuts!
