Hey all,
Here's one I havn't seen asked before. Last week, I thought we would be filing our petition, but due to a complicated case, we had to make some corrections and the filing was delayed. Since then we have had some automatic payment withdrawls from our accounts causing them to overdraft. The bank has actually paid the items. Their response was since we very rarely bounce anything... they do it as a courtesy.
But NOW we are getting ready to file and two, possibly three different bank accounts (All at the same bank) are now overdrawn. What happens in this case? We have new bank accounts, and all deposits to these original accounts have stopped. Do I need to bring them back to a slightly positive balance, or leave them as-is and will the bank charge them off?
HHHHmmmmmm ?
