How much of a hit will my credit score take?

At this point I'm not brave enough, nor can I afford to check my credit scores. Equifax sent me my credit report with my fico before I filed, and it was at 643. I had only been late two months on four out of five of my accounts (I included 5 unsecured lines in my BK), and those late payments had yet to show up on my reports.

How much will my credit scores take a dive due to my BK? At this point I don't really care, but I am curious. I'm probably going to be moving after my discharge into my first place with my fiance after we get married (we live above my parents in a duplex right now). Because of the BK, I'm worried about being denied for an apartment.

My credit report a few weeks before I filed in July was a 710, a few weeks after filing it dropped to about a 560, which included on late payment on my mortgage.

So 1 30 day mortgage late and a bk filing dropped me around 150 points.

        See below... (Updated Monthly)

The next update will include the effects of filing for Chapter 7 and it should be interesting to watch.
Discharged November 2008 100 days after filing no-asset Chapter 7. We intended to let a two-year-old vehicle go back to the bank and reaffirm an inexpensive ten-year-old SUV and our home mortgage. In the end we surrendered ALL of our vehicles and reaffirmed NOTHING. We'll "ride through" our mortgage after the court ruled it an undue hardship.

Just due to the BK hubbys scores went down about 10-15 points. When accounts started reporting IIB and closed they seemed to go down about anoth 40 points. But his scores were in the mid to high 500's at the time of filing and had high utitlization. Now one has gone up about 25 points, one is about the same and one has gone down a few points from right before when we filed.

Now mine on the other hand have all gone up anywhere from 25-50 points. But my scores were high 400's to low 500's.

So, it seems there is no rhyme or reason as to what scores do after you file.
