    Question Documents at 341

I've read about the documents you must bring to the 341 - bank statements, pay check stubs, etc. for the past few months. From what date do they want these documents - the date of filing or as close to the date of the 341 as possible? I understand there can be a lapse of a month or two between filing and the 341.

    Thanks!

My atty told me all we need is ss card and drivers license. He has all the other documents that may be needed.... What a relief.

I had to bring 3 months of bank statements prior to the filing date, a ss & dl, 2 years tax returns, 3 months of IRA, retirement, 401K or any other financial statements. titles to my vehicle if you own the car or boat, or other vehicles, the listing agreement if I had my house for sale in the last year, the closing statement if I had sold real estate or refinanced my mtg in the last year

The trustee wanted our bank statement that had our account balances as of the date we filed. He only looked at our tax returns to verify our SSN's as we didn't have our social security cards.
