I am so ticked at this point.

I have my bank accounts drained down as far as I can to this point in the month and payday is tomorrow. My attorney was to file my chapter 7 today. Well of course I have no message from him, checked pacer searching my ss# and nothing! Now tomorrow my account will be pumped up by my paycheck. I have attorneys and collection agencies starting to leave me messages and was looking for the comfort of knowing that I was filed.

On top of that they let us know at work that we will be using American Express as our corporate card, which will be based on our own credit (ss). Dont currently need one but I am doing well in my job and a promotion in the future, let alone my job is becoming cloudier........

I realize this is all my %&$( fault and am seeing red right now...Will have to call the SOB tomorrow once I cool off.......

Sorry to hear that I am/was in the same boat... was working with my lawyer earlier this week to get him some additional paperwork, and I told him I wanted to make sure everything was filed before Friday due to my husband and I having the same paycycle. Right now we're down to peanuts, literally, but that won't be the case come midnight!

I had to call him at 4:30 this afternoon to make sure that everything had gone through... you'd think he would have called or something, ya know?? But he claims he filed the paperwork... I don't know how to check Pacer (yet!)

Have you called your attorney? Aparantly they can not be as communicative as we may like...

I was actually in his office yesterday. He said they were going to file then file the schedules later.

As you say they can be very uncommunicative. I realize they are busy, but now I may have to wait another week and a half, hoping that he files when he ing says hes going to.

Maybe he filed, didnt call me yet, and its not on pacer until tomorrow......Yeah right not with my luck

Pacer updates at 6 pm. So he might have filed. Did you sign paperwork?

You can always go get money orders for the money you need taken out.

          Hi Cali,

Yes I did sign papers. I checked pacer around 8pm EST (I assume you mean 6pm in the time zone of the district filed).

What do you mean about the money orders?? I do have bills that will need paid but the reason i wanted to file now is that my mortgage and school loans get paid during the first pay of month and sucks it down fast.

From what I understand if he didnt file, my pay jacks up my bank account tomorrow, i write my bills and now have to wait for them to clear to suck the account back down, unless i want to exempt the cash, hoping that they dont challenge any of my values.......

            Unfortunately I am an idiot

Just looked on pacer again searching by my name rather than soc and see that I am filed.

Can you tell me where it will say when my 341 is and what other pages/docs I should look for??

Ok since you posted before I finished my answer to your 1st question I will answer the 2nd question.

My attorney gave me all the information about 341, and last day for objections over the phone when he gave me my case number.

                Thanks Cali.

Do you think I should call the collection agency (which I have never heard of) and attorney (who I have never heard of) and give them my case number so that they quit calling me at home, or god forbid at work? As I have never heard of them I'm thinking they are probably not on the matrix.

I would give them the case number. They aren't allowed to contact you after you have filed.

The 4 calls I had, I told them I retained an attorney and he took the calls..even before I filed. So my life hasn't been stressful at all. Thank goodness.

on pacer once you've located your case you can either choose docket report, history, or documents. Then you click next to the document you want to see.

To keep fees down, is one of those you listed more important than other?
