I finally got two call backs. One yesterday and the other one today. Both jobs are related to what I did with my business so I'm excited because I miss it. Granted both jobs will pay about $9 or $10 bucks an hour but, it's better than nothing and hopefully it will help me get caught up on bills. Wish me luck, my interviews are both tomorrow.

I HEAR THAT ! GOOD LUCK ! I've sent about 30 resumes give or take a few in the past week or two, no hits. But I guess it's early yet. I surfed Monster.com and even Craigslist!
Overtime has been cut short this year, but I thank goodness I still have a full time job, just looking for an extra boost in income!

My first interview was a bust, but the second went great!!! They offered me the job. It's not a glamorous job but I like the work and the schedule perfectly fits with my full time job which should give me 30 hours per week. They are starting me out at $11.00 an hour (which is decent for my area).
I know it doesn't sound like much, but the extra cash will help dig me out of this financial hole and will help me pay those taxes later. I'm excited about starting next week. Wish me luck.Filed Chapter 7 (Primarily Business Expenses) 04/10/2008 FICO 468

I had a retail bakery. I love to bake and decorate cakes. It started out as a hobby and became a business that was extremely profitable (but I worked my butt off) until my ex got involved and we all know that story. I did lots of wedding cakes and would still do it from home, but the mess I create in my small kitchen is ridiculous.
This new job is a few hours a day decorating only which is good because I really do miss it and without the added pressure of supervising employees, it should be a decent job for extra money.Filed Chapter 7 (Primarily Business Expenses) 04/10/2008 FICO 468
