    Every extra bit helps

    Last week, while outside work on a smoke break, a co-worker and I were approached by a gentleman who asked if we would like to be part of a focus group to discuss the state lottery. After answering a few questions we agreed to attend a 2 hour session last night at 5:30 pm.

    Here's the best part - 2 hours.....$75 compensation. Received the check as we left the session.

    Extra money is SOOOOOOOO nice to have. Especially when in a 5 year 13!!!
    Wish I could get on a "list" somewhere to do this once or twice a week

    PS: I also had to buy 4 new summer tires a few weeks ago. As part of a promotion, I was eligible for a $50 gas card. That came in yesterdays mail. All in all I have to say it was a very good day!!!!!!!!!!!

      Very nice! Don't mean to be nosey, but is that going to be fun money? If so, maybe you won't mind me enjoying a fun time out vicariously through you? ps: Red Lobster sounds good to me, but you do what you want.
      04/04/08- Notice of deficiency balance due from a repo. 04/18/08- Fico scores w/repo listed: EXP 624, TRAN 610, EQU 610. 04/19/08- Found this forum. 04/24/08- Retained attorney for a chapter 7, filing singly. 5/5/08- Turned in bk paperwork to atty. 5/27/08- Date set for reviewing paperwork.

        Yes, definitely fun money. Already spent it actually
        Put it towards a portable ice maker I found on Ebay. Been wanting one for camp for a couple of years now...but didn't feel right spending the money. I can justify it now I'm so excited!!!!!!! (sounds kind of lame, huh to be so excited about an icemaker)



        But.....I look at it this way. No more buying bags of ice at camp store. So, after 111.2 bags of ice, it will have paid for itself

        I can hear those margaritas calling now................
