I cannot find any publication where bankruptcies are listed in my area. Still working on finding one. In the meantime, I was wondering if it is possible to search on Pacer by attorney name?

Danaf, you can search PACER by atty name, but don't do it at home on your own acct -- that's a real good way to rack up some charges, because if your atty has filed 300 cases in the last three years, it will bring them all up!
If you want to go this route (and it's not a bad one! just potentially expensive) then see if your courthouse has free PACER access, or if you're anywhere near one of the schools that is offering it.
I also sent you a PM on this, so be sure to check your notices. Good luck!!!
DaisyNolo Press book on filing Chapter 7, there are others too. (I have no affiliation with Nolo Press; just a happy customer.) Best wishes to you!

Daisy - Would you please explain 1. How to search by attorney name, and 2. How to find the schedules?
I did find the one publication today in my area that lists the bks, but the attorney names aren't listed. I'm wanting to go in by a certain attorney and see how he does the paperwork. He charges 3k just for ch7 no asset so I'm thinking might be beneficial.
And also, the court in my area does offer free pacer access (only to view). But that's ok - write down the case numbers and take a look at home.Filed Chapter 7 Pro-Se May 29, 2008
