Just noticed that my BOA Visa card is one of the cards that accumulates points over time, and you can cash in the points for cash back in the form of a check. I have enough points for $50, think there is any issue in me cashing this in? I plan on stopping payments to BOA as of next month, filing for Ch 7 in July

Cashing in your points will not cause any problems. -
I did that from Citibank a few months before we filed our 13. It was a few hundred dollars. Had no plans at all to file at that time, but it was never brought up as an issue.........You can't have your cake and eat it too. But you can dip your finger in the bowl and lick the icing
