I signed up for a trial of this today - my BK hasn't hit TransUnion yet - filed on 3/21.

It hit Equifax almost immediately. Is this common?

My score was actually up on TU from 680 to 700! It didn't show the BK though, I looked.

Wonder how long until it appears.

I wish these score companies didn't charge so much! I hate to pay $15/month for my scores.
    Filed C7: 3/21/08
    341 Meeting: 4/23/08
    Objections to discharge due: 6/23/08
    Discharged 6/30/08

Transunion seems to be slow with everything they do.

I wouldn't worry too much about your scores unless you plan on making a big purchase soon. Some folks spend way too much money just to see the FICO score. Instead, focus on making all the disputes you need to get your reports accurate. The scores will take care of themself.

My main thing is wanting to see how far they actually drop once I am all done. I'm really curious about that.

I'm not planning a big purchase or anything.

I feel its worth the money to know what's going on with my credit. I use truecredit and have since my bk in 2005. I have caught quite a few things that I wouldn't have without it that would have cost me more than the 15 per month in the longrun.....

You can expect about a 100-200 point drop but it can go back up. My brother filed chapter 7 and had a score of 620 before he filed. It went down to 480. He checked it 9 months post-discharge bankruptcy and it was already up tpo 630. He did get a secured credit card to help him rebuild.

I'm looking for a site like Truecredit.com so that I can keep track of my credit scores so that I can get prepared to start cleaning it up my credit report. I've seen some folks here that have almost daily access to their scores. Is truecredit.com a trusted site to check my true credit scores and how often do they update them (every 30 days??). Thanks

Just remember everyone - scores on this truecredit.com site are not real FICO scores, so their worth is extremely limited. I personally wouldn't waste my time looking at those scores. The tri-merged report is helpful, but not the scores.

Unfortunately, to get your real scores, you must pay. But you can get discounts by going online and searching for discount codes for myfico.

Not true. You can update your credit repots once every 24 hours. I signed up shortly after I filed BK and have been pulling my credit report daily to make sure things report as they should. I have already caught a few inaccurate items...
