I can't say for sure because I haven't been to a 341 meeting yet. However, since many debtors have their 341 meetings back to back, the IRS might be there for another debtor and ask a quick question to others. *shrug*

Do yourself a favor. Check everything I say with a bankruptcy attorney. Most attorneys will even provide a free initial consultation. In fact, it's your life, so check everything anyone says (including your attorney) for yourself!

Holy crap! I hope the IRS doesn't attend 341's. If so, that gives me reason to be extremely nervous. I'm filing next week and they are owed big time (non-dischargeable taxes) and still trying to stay ahead of a lien, garnishment or levy. I was planning to deal with them after the discharge. If they are there I will probably throw up.

First, ask your attorney whether the IRS is usually there, and I'm sure they will know for your bankruptcy district.

Secondly, you listed the IRS as a creditor, right?
