I would do it again in a heartbeat.
And most importantly, I would do it A LOT sooner than I did. I actually was SO terrified of BK that in retrospect, I should have filed at least a year before I did. That year was pure hell.

Yes, I would do it again, in a heartbeat, BUT I would do a lot of research on bankruptcy and KEEP A CLOSER EYE on my attorney and what he's doing regarding my case.....
I should have done it 4 years sooner......
Filing bankruptcy stopped the stress, the 2nd job, being sick,and gave my life back to me.....
Filing was the only way to solve the problem....Minny

Thanks again. We too both my husband and I have 2nd jobs, live paycheck to paycheck, no savings, no 529 plan for our sons college, no nice vacations, only a weekend here or there with a 5th wheel which is only a couple times a summer. We never even took a honeymoon... no money... etc......So all this feedback really helps me out since my husband is still on the fence about all of this.

My case was just closed today but yeah, I'd do it again in a heartbeat, although much sooner. I should have filed in late 2004 and saved tens of thousands of dollars that ultimately went wasted. Just didn't really know enough about it at the time.11/13/07 - Filed Chapter 7
