If my company files bk how will it effect me

I owe AMEX 55k and some other small creditors about 15k, I took 80k from the equity in my home to oay the other debt. I am out of time and money and amex has turned me over to collection. The card is in the company name with my name on it for the user.

The company is like a person, a separate entity..unless of course you personally guaranteed stuff...then you are screwed.

If your social security number or TIN was used to apply for the credit then you are responsible.
