Silly question...how do most dress for the 341 meeting?

Should we dress professionally like we are going on a job interview? Or poor and shabby like we really need them to discharge our bk or somewhere in between (business casual)?

Don't want to over or under do it.

It doesn't matter how you dress but I wore a suit

At mine, it was all over the lot. From faded jeans and flannel shirts and belt buckels the size of a serving platter to expensive suits.
I was business casual. A sport coat and white shirt and tie. I'd suggest just dress neatly. One lady was a nurse and wore her scrubs. Since the meeting was at 10, she likely went on to work.

I think that you should dress conservatively and respectfully. I do not think that you should dress up or dress down. But you are going to a court of law and I believe that you should dress with respect...no jeans or tennis shoes, sandals, etc.

But that's just the way I was raised. I intend to wear business casual attire to my 341.

My Trustee got a kick out of me, it was all about "SUPERMAN." I pulled out my superman logo wallet to show my ID. I pulled out my superman logo checkbook to write my first payment towards my plan. I had my superman watch on and wore my superman necklace (no bling), and superman logo ring. I wore a super blue shirt and wore khakis.

Hey CMIYC--are you kidding or serious?? I have lotsa EEyore and Scooby-Doo stuff wallet/checks/watch...wonder what the effect of that would be?! LOL I do have to laugh at the irony of your gear at BK hearing though--too bad you didn't go in replete with cape!
Most of my stuff is 2nd hand anyway, or 10+ yrs old, I'd certainly never dress up and/or wear jewelry though--the last thing you want to project is $$ at BK. I'd say conservative and respectful, and if you gotta go to work after, certainly your work clothes.

Trust me, I don't do "bling". My wedding band/engagement ring and Mickey Mouse watch or maybe mother/son charm bracelet is about the most I do.

I worried about this last Friday when we were getting ready for ours. Of course, my husband thought I was silly.

I was raised to dress appropriately as well, but maybe it's where I'm sick of this whole deal already and just don't care or maybe because I didn't feel like ironing that morning or any list of reasons I could come up with, but I wore jeans and a sweater. No jewelry except for my wedding rings, and a pair of dress shoes that are like 100 years old. I'm glad I didn't put a lot of effort into it because our trustee looked like a hobo. (Sorry if that's disrespectful, but it's absolutely true).
