In my experience, if you think or believe something will occur, then it most likely will. If you think that something bad is bound to happen unless something *magical* takes place (win lotto, marry a millionaire) then it probably will. You are thinking, and making connections without realizing you are doing it. If you have a feeling of dread about your finances, I think you should visit whatever agency covers these things and talk to someone who can help you out.
