Anyone can get a PACER account, you need not have filed. Yes, you can look at ANY cases; they are all public record. And that's exactly how I prepared to file, at least in part. You can search by all sorts of criteria in PACER: case #, name, attorney, creditor, all sorts of things. Be careful with your searches, you can rack up some bills at $0.08 a page, but you'll quickly get the hang of it. Also, PACER may be free at your courthouse; it is at mine.
