SS Disability???

I am in the process of getting SS Disability. Actually, I just filed and of course will be denied first round. If I start drawing that after filing BK, do I have to report it?? Also, are cancer policy benefits paid considered part of income??

I actually was awarded SSDI before we filed and I did include it in our filing info. Howeer, my backpay award did not arrive until after we filed but that is exempt income anyways.

Good luck on your SSDI case, I filed mine in 1/04 and was finally awarded 6/07. Did not receive back pay until 9/07 and got first monthly check the same time.
