We have a Maine Coon Cat we got January of this year. We paid $650 for him along with getting shots and neutered. Of course he is now our beloved family pet, but do trustees ask about animals like this (purebreds that are kind of extravagant in their cost to buy?) I would pretty much just say we have a couple of house cats if the topic came up, but just wanted to be prepared. I'm assuming a trustee wouldn't ask you to sell the family pet to recoup money (which I wouldn't do, it would break my son's heart - and we'd be upset too).
Thanks for any advice.
