I still have not been able to access anything through my court's PACER site, however, I noticed you could go into the US Party Case Index through PACER to look up a case number. So, even though I know my case number, I tried it and voila! There was my name & case number, handily linked to the case info. (But linked to it on my court's ECF system, not the normal PACER info site.)
I don't know if anyone else has had a problem finding their case, but this might help.
You just go to the PACER FAQ list on the home/login page and down toward the bottom there is a section on the US Party Case Index. Your PACER login/psswd works for it too.
