    Creditor addresses

I'm seeing different addresses for my creditors on my credit reports. Transunion reports one thing and Experian another...is it extremely important that I figure out the correct one, or will either do? I'm trying to put my filing together...yes, I have an attorney but it seems like I have to do most of the work myself. And I want to get it right
    Thanks,
    Lefty

I'd go with the payment address on your statement. It will get to the proper department regardless.

Ditto on the payment address from your statements.

Actually it's best to list every single address you have for each creditor and collector. That way there's no doubt they will be notified when you file. So what if they end up getting two letters instead of one? Better than getting no letter at all because you guessed at which address to list and guessed wrong.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

          Ditto's!!

That's what our attny did. He listed any and all addresses we had for every Creditor. He said he didn't wanna hear the "We didn't get notified" arguement.

Also,........ Even tho the Clerk will physically mail Notices to all the addresses you list,......... Many of the Big Creditors have an arrangement with the Court to be notified Electronically. BoA, Chase, Citi, etc are all Electronically notified by the Court, in addition to the Notices that are mailed to them.

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.

List all of them. List the different addresses as alternate addresses of the same creditors. The Court Clerk will send a copy of 341 notice to all of the addresses listed.

That is what happened in my case. Best of luck.

Actually my lawyer told me to look on the statement and you the address for correspondences not the address you send your payment too. However, just to CYA I'd list every address I had.
