Things you can't do once filed

My attorney will be filing my claim tomorrow but I remember when I was leaving her office she said there are certain things I can't do like win the lottery, inherit anything...but what about getting another part time job. Would I be able to add income?

It would be best to wait until after your 341 meeting.

However if you just can't make it, you are well below the median, this job won't put you over the median, and you are negative on your schedules you may be able to get a part time job before then.

It is really best to wait until after the 341 meeting if possible.

Absolutely wait till after the 341 meeting, as the Trustee will ask you if your income has changed................

You don't want anything to mess up your filing.............

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
