I'm glad others have had the same experience. These creditors are really amazing. I have a friend who filed BK7 in 2004 and he's got massive lines of credit with some of the same creditors he bankrupted. I heard that some will never give you a credit card again like American Express, but some are very forgiving.

We still get offers, too, but not a card. It's not possible that the card is just a replacement for one that Expired, just a new card to replace the old one, but with new terms?
I am pretty sure they cannot count it against you as a debt - if it is a whole new account - unless you sign it or call and activate it. I do like the idea of trying to use it after you have your 341.
I have a few cards that have zero balance on them and I'm going to go out after my 341 and try to charge $20-30 on each one and see what happens.<<I am NOT an attorney, my comments are anecdotal only. Contact an attorney for advice>>
FINALLY DISCHARGED 92 DAYS AFTER THE 341! A NEW START!!!

We just started getting some offers in the mail from BOA.
We haven't paid on the 2 cards we already have with them since March. We owe them somewhere around $30,000 now.
I think now that we have cleared in-house collections they don't realize that we owe them money already. :7/01/10 - filed!
11/20/10 - discharged and closed
