    Intent to Sue letter

I got an "Internt to Sue" letter yesterday for not paying my credit card bills. Do you have any idea of how long it will take for them to get a decision on a judgment against me? I have no assets, not working, not paying taxes. They can't take anything from me.

Do I have to make an appearance in court? I have a short trip planned in December and I don't want it to be ruined due to a court appearance. Maybe it's possible to delay it if the date happens to be that time? I appreciate any input on this.

I got an "intent to sue" letter from Chase if I didn't respond within 10 days. I filed on Oct 9th and never received anything from them that they were filing suit prior to my filing. I hope that helps
