I am considering applying for financial jobs at banks, but will probably also file for bankruptcy within a few months.

Specifically, what kind of positions at banks require bonding? I am not looking to be a tell, branch manager, or anything like that. It's more at the corporate level like risk management or software development.

My husband actually works in risk management at a credit card company/banking institution. He is hoping to get into software development in a couple of years. He got the job right around the time of our bankruptcy discharge. It was something we had to address before he could be hired, but he did get the job.

A friend of mine went through this situation. He is a bank loan officer, and when he moved could not stay on with his prior bank. When he moved, he had a bk dismissed, and could not get a bank to touch him when reapplying in the new city. He wound up starting an entire different career sad tosay.
