We are going to file BK. Unfortunately we have used a couple of our credit cards in the last month or two, even opened a new one, and have made a few large purchases. My question or concern is, how much of a problem is this going to cause with our creditors and the BK? We are current on all our bills, so one thought I had was to stop paying the cc's, and wait a few months till the dust settles so to speak on the credit card usage, before we actually file. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. By the way, we are new to the forum.

No, 90 days is the limit for "luxury purchases" over $500. By luxury, they mean things you don't really have to have, like vacations, plasma TV's, fancy dinners, etc.
Just remember to keep making payments on the things you plan to keep, like mtg, car loan, and to your utilities.Filed Business Chapter 7: 7/11/07
