can not access credit report online. how come?

i'm trying to find all my accounts and check my report just prior to filing bk. but the annualcreditreport.com says


"locked out due to security reasons"


i now have to mail in a request....


is it because i'm in total debt?


anyone else have this problem?

It isn't because you're in total debt. Did you fill in every required field? How many times did you click Continue at the bottom of each page? Could you have tried too many times to complete the form? And have you requested your free reports already within the last year? (You only get one free report a year.)

OK I had the same promblem.... Don't worry .....1st ..I learned Transunion was the BEST one because they give you the account numbers and the other two do not!!!! Now it will help if you high light the company and number. BUt I had tryed the FREE credit report .com and it would not accept me so I Called the one 800 number and THEY CANNOT DENIE YOU YOUR OWN CREDIT REPORT So they said they would mail it and they did 7 days later AND it does help save $100.00 dollars SO TRY the online version 1st to save money and if not let them mail you one.. They did to us and it saved us $100.00 to the lawyer.. Hope this helps and GOOD LUCK!!!!
