Repaying discharged creditors

What a waste. Your credit is already ruined, the Bk stays on your report for years (8-10), paying back your debt won't clear that Bk off your report. I would just be patient and go through the motions and slowly rebuild your credit back up.

The whole purpose would be to get new credit with a creditor that was included in the original bankruptcy.

I'm just asking the question and have no intentions doing it. Maybe I should ask another way...

Can one get new credit with a creditor that was originally discharged? From what a few people have said, it's possible a few years post bankruptcy. I have a hard time believing that but, hey, I'm new at this.
