    Kelly Blue Book

For ch 7 purposes, which category in Kelly do you base what your vehicle is worth? There is trade in value or private party value. And what about the fair/good/excellent condition?

Kelly is usually high. I would argue that you are not in the car business and always trade in your vehicles’. The dealers use a book name Galves.

Must be a regional thing. I've never heard of Galves. Around here I've always seen the dealers use NADA.

Check out NADA, edmunds, and Kelly blue book values and you should get a pretty good feel for what you vehicle is worth.

Trustees usually use the Nada yellow book. They go by fair market value.

I'd recommend NADA value as well. I had a Kelly Blue Book value and the lawyer sent me back to get a NADA one. Its the one as others mentioned that the trustees prefer.
