Surrendering house in Chapter 7 ??

If I plan to surrender my house in bk, should I just stop paying on it? Is there a timing issue to the surrendering? For foreclosure aspects?

yes, just stop paying but you better make sure you have find another place to live just in case they lift the automatic stay. If you live in Phoenix, like I do, rentals are easy to come by here. I found one without credit check.

If you live in a judical foreclosure state, you can stay there for months as the process plays out.
On another site I haunt, a couple of Ohio residents reported something like 8 months before they finally had to vacate the home.
