Do you mean will you be able to see cases of other people who have filed bankruptcy on PACER? Yes. However, if you are hoping to find a specific case that isn't your, be careful! While you search for it, you can run up quite a bill, even at just $0.08/page.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

Yeah, you can. But you need to know what State and District to look in. And you might have to look at several Joe Smiths if it's a common name before you find the right person.

As Lrprn said, at 8 cents/page, you could run up a bill pretty quick if you aren't careful.
      Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
      Discharged - 12/2006
Officially Declared No Asset - 03/2007
      Closed - 04/2007

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.

PACER is probably not the best way to go about it...(1) do you know if this person every filed BK? (2) and you can only register for a single district at a time, thus, you would need to have some idea where this person already lives, i.e. which state, and in larger states, which district within that state. (although PACER exists nationally, you cannot search PACER at the national level)
