    unaccountable income

I just hired a lawyer and im getting my paper work together.
the problem i have is i have unaccountable income,i had 2 roommates,my girlfriend lives with me now; i also sold a car, painted my fathers house, mowed lawns, and sold a bunch of stuff, money went into checking account as needed to pay bills,i have been putting more money into my checking account then i make and was wondering what the trustee is going to say about that?

You'll need to report all income within the last 6 months.
Paystubs are the norm, but yours may just be paper and pencil. If you're lucky enough that all of this pay was by check which you deposited into your account. Just print up 6 months of bank statements and circle/explain each deposit.

There have been people here before. Self employed. Where they owned their own business or did Sales or whatever. They didn't get a "regular paycheck" like most of us.

Their attnys had them write up a Statement and sign it as an Affidavit. The Court will accept that in lieu of paystubs for other monies earned.

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.

There was a place on the forms that we filled out that asked "have you made any other income in the last ??? from any other sources?" As my husband does woodworking and occaisionally does work on friends/families vehicles (he's a mechanic), we just put in a rough amount and that it came from various people for side work. That seemed to be all the trustee needed and it didn't go any farther than that. It does vary greatly how each trustee will handle certain things, hopefully yours will not be to thorough.

Yea, I would be sure the amount you put in to the checking account matches the amount you earned and your should be fine. A log of income will do
