    Too Optimistic???

    Hey folks,

My last day for objections was yesterday: 4/9
Nothing significant has been entered since 3/20 (reaffirmation) Financial ED filed on 4/6. I'm hoping that I'm in the clear zone.... since it is now 8:15pm 4/10.
No contact from my attorney or trustee. Should I go to bed in peace tonight?

I haven't had more than 4 hours of sleep a night since October 06.

By the dates you posted for your filing and your 341, it looks like you hit a snag or 2 along the way.

Generally speaking, if nothing new has posted on your case, you're probably in the clear.

Many Discharge Notices are automatically generated by the Court computer in the wee hours of the night some time after the final date for Objections passes.

In our Court here, the Official Discharge notice came a week later. Other folks see their Notices post within a day or 2. It just varies from Court to Court.

Our attny told us what to expect and called us the day our Discharge was posted. Maybe call your attny and ask what to expect. If you filed Pro Se, you can call the Clerk of the Court's Office and they'll tell you when Discharge Notices are posted.

        Not Yet!!!!!!!!!!!!

        Gosh,

Deadline for objections was 4/9 an it's almost the end of 4/12. No entries since 4/6 (financial management).

Please............. just let me see "discharged" already. Anyone have problems after 3 days of obj deadline? Objection or extension???

I would like to sleep more than 4 hours a night soon!!!!!

Hang in there - unfortunately trustees move in a time and space continuum all their own! For now do your best to focus on the fact that you didn't receive any objections and the end is getting closer and closer every day - those are wonderful things! Come back here when the waiting is just too much and VENT, VENT, VENT!!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
          09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
          08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

            Thank you Irprn

I can't say that I'm not worried but it's mostly the jitters for wanting to get on with my life. After filing, most people experience some peace since the phone stops ringing and you don't have to worry about how to make the payments which are not reducing your debt at all. Once the 341 is over and the 60 days near the end, I got very worried about this peace being taken away since I could (can) almost taste what I hope to be a representaion of a new start.

You're right, I should be happy that this chapter (no pun intended) is almost over and I have not received an objection, yet, at least. I went into PACER today and wasted a lot of money checking other cases with the same deadline/ trustee and judge, and nobody was discharged yet. Furthermore, entries for the very unfortunate people who received objections or extensions had been entered on the same day or one day after the deadline already. My case is awaiting discharge and 3 days old after the deadline. So perhaps I should just chill.........

Well I appreciate you reading my ramble. I'll post when I see the "magical' entry.

My Objection to Deadline Date WAS Jan 8th. The Trustee had sent a Asset Notice Letter (how frustrating KNOWING I didn't have any assets, which just delayed things!) BUT Jan 26th I saw my DISCHARGE.
FINALLY, March 26th, I saw No Distribution Letter, No Assets! So now just waiting for the CLOSING THING!
So it will happen for you! Because I didn't have any Objections either before or on the Deadline!

Best Wishes, CMIYC ! BREEEEEEEATHE !

Our last day for Objections was 12/11. Thankfully, our paralegal told us the Court wouldn't issue the Discharge for a week.

Before we went to bed on 12/18, I checked PACER. Still nothing. But when I got up and checked the next morning, on 12/19, there it was. Our DISCHARGE!! And it was dated 12/18.

The actual letter wasn't mailed for another 3 days after that.

Hang in there a while longer, Kiddo!!
